Only 3 John Deere 6030s made it to the auction block during the month of August, but a uniquely modified 6030 caught the eyes of our Tractor Zoom Facebook followers.
We shared the above image with our followers and it garnered over 8,000 engagements – 1,493 reactions, 56 comments, 43 shares, and nearly 6,500 clicks. Additionally, the post made its way back to a former owner who provided a little more history on the tractor:
“A little more history on the 6030, I was [the] second owner, it came from Culbertson Montana, I farmed in southern Saskatchewan Canada. When I bought it it was dynoed at 265hp. It would pull a 35’ toolbar with dead Rod in 5th gear and come to a hill and never shift. I changed out the cab after I had it for a couple of years.”
With so much interest expressed for this tractor, we wanted to be sure to share where this sale ended up on August 24, 2022 In Strawberry Point, IA.
