Description
1982 JOHN DEERE 4040 1982 John Deere 4040 Tractor off the Ed Yadoff estate. Ed bought the tractor brand new from Maquoketa Implement Maquoketa Iowa in 1982. Ed Retired from farming in the late 90’s and passed away in 2024. The tractor had been used sparingly after his retirement, that’s how it has such super low hours. Do to it not being used much since, the original front tires were flat and were so weather checked from sitting in one spot that they had to be replaced. So it’s got new front tires, also new batteries and alternator. Also it has just been serviced with new engine oil and filter.. Tractor has been check over and it starts and runs great, no excessive smoke or blowby. Quad Range and Steering and everything operates just like a true ORIGINAL ONE OWNER 2100 houred one should! Actually the JD salesman that sold it new to Ed is still alive and verified the hours as well! Always shedded as original and clean as you’ll find anywhere!
