Business and sales continued to grow, and in 1953, the company merged with the Ferguson Company. 

Competition was fierce during the sixties and early seventies, and Massey-Ferguson was always a player as the modern farm continued to evolve. They had (and still have) a very global mindset, serving agriculture needs all over the world. In 1994, when they were acquired by AGCO Corporation, 87% of their machinery was sold outside of North America. In 2022, the company celebrated its 175th anniversary, and they show no signs of stopping!
