Description

The CII series from Equalizer is a “narrow” row-crop planter meant for conventional and moderate no-till conditions. It’s designed for planting crops like corn, soybeans, sunflowers, sugar beets, etc. It uses modern precision-planting technology (factory-fitted with Precision Planting vSet2 meter system) for accurate, singulated seed placement Number of rows 16 Row spacing 762 mm (30 in) Working width 12.2 m (≈ 40 ft) Main wheel track width ~3.0 m (≈ 9.8 ft) Seed hopper volume per row 75 L (≈ 19.8 gallons) Uses 3-bin hopper system; total fertilizer hopper capacity is 6150 L (with distribution among bins) for granular or liquid fertilizer. Drawbar hitch (fits CAT-class pins as appropriate), 2-section folding frame design for transport. Relatively narrow — transport width around 3.5 m to 3.8 m (depending on configuration) and transport height around 4.3–4.5 m. Supports both granular and liquid fertilizer placement; coulter-based placement next to and under seed; optional liquid tubes or rear spray arm for above-seed fertilizer or inoculant. delivered either with the seed or separately, giving flexibility depending on soil and crop needs. Features mechanical spring downforce or optional hydraulic downforce per row (e.g. via Precision Planting DeltaForce), notched steel closing wheels with independent toe-out adjustment. thanks to Precision Planting vSet2 meters.
