Description
JOHN DEERE 3940 Selling this forage harvester with the hay head shown. Was last used about 10 years ago to chop mint. Does include the control box. Looks like a decent little chopper. Additional questions can be directed to the owner or the auction company during normal business hours. Owner can be reached at 970_275_6687. Loading assistance is available with at least 24 hours advance notice. Sales tax at the rate of 4.65% will be added to the purchase price of this item. If the item qualifies for the Colorado ag exemption AND the buyer wishes to claim the ag exemption, sales tax can be reduced if they provide the auction company with a completed and signed Colorado ag exemption affidavit (this will be attached to the successful buyer's invoice from the auction company). Please note that these items are located in Montrose County, which does NOT exempt farm machinery from the collection of sales tax. As such, completing the Colorado affidavit will remove 2.9% state sales tax but Montrose County sales tax of 1.75% must still be collection - NO EXCEPTIONS!
