2002 Sterling Acterra Dump Grain Truck. Holds up to 450 Bushels. 400bu is a comfortable load. Top foot of racks is fairly easily removable, which makes it a comfortable height for skid steer loading. Rear end gate swings from top or is easily removed with pallet forks using loops on top of door. Also has a grain door. Has an air up, air down pusher axle. Caterpillar 3126E engine, 6 speed synchronized transmission, easy to shift. Scissors hoist is much heavier duty than needed for this size truck, will lift anything you put on it. Fresh engine oil just changed, fresh grease job, new batteries this winter. Ready to be put to work. Our customer has owned this truck since 2009, ran daily route with it with a van box for 8 years. He did the paint, added axle, added hoist, brand new PTO, sandblasted dump box frame and racks, put new wood on dump box floor, added lights and paint to match. 270k Miles. Engine runs good, In the past 18 years all it has ever needed was injector cups, fuel pressure sensor on Heui pump, and alternator. Check engine light is on, when I look up code it says something about engine doesn't know its designating or application, he never worried much about it. Could use new drivers seat cushion, and radio. Heat works, but A/C I haven't tried charging lately, components are there but non working as is.
