Unassembled, 65 LBs empty weight The 300 lb lawn & garden spreader is manufactured with 18 gauge steel. This spreader is a bolt together design and some assembly is required. All metal is abrasive blasted and powder coated before it leaves the factory for a long lasting finish. The 300 Lb. drop spreader is designed to be used with bag lime only, NO BULK DAMP AG LIME. Our adjustable bottom gate allows you to spread some other dry materials like fertilizer. With a good wash and lube after each use this powder coated finish will help keep your spreader operating and looking good for many years. This spreader has 4.10/3.50-6 pneumatic tires with a OAD of 8''. The gate has laser cut slotted and slanted holes that allow the lime to drop with a slightly overlapping pattern so you don’t miss applying any lime on your lawn. When the gate is fully open the overlapping slots are 5/16 inch wide. The 300 Lb. drop spreader has a single beater that is wheel driven that will continually push the material down so you will get a nice even drop. The top safety screen will help break up material as you fill your spreader.
