JOHN DEERE 3830 This swather is coming off of a local farm which has upgraded to a newer machine. They used this as a backup and did cut with it in 2024 but no longer need this swather. Machine starts, runs, steers and operates as it should. Header runs smoothly, cab is clean, AC blows cold, radio does not work. We believe the ~4000 hours are actual. Owner did state that the buyer needs to continuously check the sickle gear box on the left side of the header when in use to keep adequate oil in the gearbox to avoid damage. That gearbox does have an oil seep and will run out of oil if not checked regularly. Otherwise, he states this is a good machine. Additional questions can be directed to the owner at 970_596_5898. Loading assistance is available with at least 24 hours advance notice. Sales tax at the rate of 4.65% will be added to the purchase price of this item unless the buyer claims this as an ag exempt purchase and provides the auction company with a completed and signed Colorado ag exemption affidavit. This will remove Colorado state sales tax of 2.9% BUT MONTROSE COUNTY SALES TAX OF 1.75% MUST STILL BE COLLECTED AS MONTROSE COUNTY DOES NOT EXEMPT FARM MACHINERY FROM THE COLLECTION OF SALES TAX - NO EXCEPTIONS!
