Hands down, the nicest example of the early Aluminum Hood Ford 9N in existence. How do we know? The Early Ford V-8 Club has an exhausting judging regimen that examines Ford products made between 1930 and 1953. It’s a 1,000 point judging checklist in which you must score at least 950 to be awarded the Dearborn Award. This tractor scored 1,000! Fine details like the correct Ford battery and connectors, the Ford fan belt, the Ford spark plugs and many more things overlooked during most restorations make this stand out above any and all. You can literally get lost in the detail that was put into this restoration. You keep looking and studying the tractor and you find more an more small details that literally make you say - Wow! Remember - it scored 1,000 points out of a possible 1,000 points - three times with car show judges scrutinizing it! The tractor was developed in a matter of months and when fair time came, the hoods were not ready. As a quick fix, they used aluminum hoods on the first 600.
