Rare! English Minneapolis-Moline UDS Dorman Diesel The UDS was a joint postwar production between the USA and Britain. UDI rear ends were shipped to Britain and then either 48 hp Dorman 4cyl diesel engines or 60 hp Meadows 4cyl diesel engines were installed. The Dorman powered unit was the UDS and the Meadows was a UDM. Approximately 750 were made between 1946 and 1948. These tractors were built in the UK but many were exported to Australia and also New Zealand. The two offered in the Fall Harvest Auction are the only two that we know of in the United States. This UDS has been repainted and has like new tires. It was recently sent from a prominent collection in the England to be sold here. Located in Nokomis IL.
